Life is happening for you not to you...

#motivationalmindset Life offers us so many opportunities. Some amazing, some great and some not that great at all. When life offers you amazing and great opportunities you are buzzing around and thanking angels, God, Buddha, Krishna, Allah, the Universe or whomever you align with, for how blessed you feel and how you are eternally grateful.

This is all great and I'm not assuming that feeling this is a bad, thing, on the contrary - it's essential to be grateful in order to grow and evolve into the person we desire to be. So find things every day, every moment, every second of your life.

Now I know that 99.9% of you will be running the good things through your mind that you're grateful for - kids, house, friends, amazing experience etc.

The thing is though, we must be grateful for the 'not so great' things that happen to us. Be grateful for the boyfriend that left, the job that you've been redundant from, the debt that you have, the experience from the past - whatever it is that's playing around your consciousness and talking to you in negative ways. Some may say - I'd never be grateful for that experience' and I get that can be tough. However underneath that experience was an opportunity for some growth and self awareness. These experiences show us how to be more resourceful, resilient, independent, courageous, strong etc... In fact to be better versions of ourselves...

Life is a gift xox
