Keep The Change You Filthy Animal!

#throwback Who remembers going to a drive in cinema? It was years since I'd been to one. A few years back I went to a classic drive in up in North Queensland. It still had it's old school charm... However it was nothing like the scene in Grease! lol

It's crazy how times have changed and how things in our life advance... The drive in cinema was a weekend adventure with the family, or group of friends or a boy friend!

What most do not realize that in order to see a movie back in 'the day' you had to wait for it to come out on the big screen. after that it may be played on the TV as a Midday movie or a Sunday movie.

The video player was invented, the DVD player was invented, satellite TV produced on-demand movies and then TV created more channels! Wow movie time became anytime of the day or night! Then the internet came along which offer viewers the chance to watch movies from all over the globe - mostly by illegally downloaded them (God forbid if you had dial up!). And then.... NETFLIX!! wow what a progression!

I recall some of the favourite movies that my boys loved... Toy Story, Home Alone (loved watching them watch this movie as the laughter was pure bliss), Batman etc.... and then the movies that I've found myself going back too... OMG I'll admit it - Dirty Dancing was a fav!
